Your place for collecting old or antique fishing tackle is the
European Angling Tackle Collectors Community !
We're all collecting antique and old fishing tackle and related items such as
spinning reels, rods, books, pins, patches, creels, floats, baskets, stamps, post cards,
prints, lures, figurines, photos, trophies, old fishing flags, minnow traps and automatic hooking devices...
Our community was founded in 1993 and has members coming from different European countries
(The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, ...) and from the Unites States.
We collect antique fishing tackle from these brands : Abeille, ABU, Aiglon, Allcock, Ari 't Hart, Arjon,
Asbjorn Horgard, BAM, Benora, Benson, Bretton, CAP, Capta, Chippindale, Cordel,
Crack, DAM, Doperr, Farlow, Fin-Nor, Hardy, Heddon, Hendryx, Horrocks-Ibbotson,
Illingworth, Jocker, Kovalovsky, La Soie, Leonard, Luxor, Malloch's, Massart,
Meek, Millam, Mitchell, Nettuno, Nylisto, Orvis, Pelican, Penn, Pflueger, Ru,
Sagarra, Sage, Salmo, Sap, Shakespeare, South Bend, Supmatic, Tamson, TAP,
Van Staal, Velox, Vom Hofe, Winchester, Young, Zangi and many others
Twice a year a tackle show is organized : during Spring in Oud-Empel -near 's Hertogenbosch- and during Fall we have
our great European Tackle Show in Vught. (see under "tackle fairs" for further details)
Both shows have no entrance fee and are attended by hundreds of collectors from the surrounding countries.
They all come not only to trade, buy or sell but also to get free advice and valuation.
We recently added the roster of our community. You can find the fellows, with their home addresses, phone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses.
Each member gave his point(s) of interest... It's a nice -and free- way to get known world-wide !
